Bio
York is an enrolled agent with over a decade of experience in public accounting, specializing in tax preparation and planning for individuals and businesses. In 2023, York founded her own practice, Rivet Tax Services. Shortly thereafter, she began collaborating with Thomas Shelley, her former colleague and the CEO and co-founder of Magnetic, one of the first AI tax preparation platforms on the market. Since then, she has worked closely with Magnetic as a subject matter expert as they've worked to create a solution that meets the demands of a modern tax practice.
York believes tax professionals have a responsibility to be leaders in the development and safe implementation of AI across the profession, and is excited about the opportunities AI creates for both practitioners and the taxpayers that they serve.
